For Alliant Energy’s residential customers in Iowa

By building an energy-efficient home right from the start, you can save on energy costs and increase your home's comfort level for years to come.

Through our New Home Construction program, we offer base rewards from $500 - $1,750, depending on the square footage of your home, and whether or not your home receives heating and/or cooling energy from Alliant Energy-IPL.

Bonus rewards are available for customers that install geothermal or achieve the ENERGY STAR® Advanced Lighting Package (ALP).  The ALP reward is $250 when at least 60 percent of the home’s hard-wired fixtures and 100 percent of the home’s ceiling fans are ENERGY STAR qualified. 

ENERGY STAR qualified multifamily facilities are eligible for an incentive up to 65 cents per square foot.
